Jung Hyun Jun is currently Postdoc Research Associate working with Dr. Jason Gu at Singapore University of Technology and Design. He completed his PhDÂ from University of Cincinnati under Dr. Dharma P. Agrawal in Computer Science and Engineering at the Center for Distributed and Mobile Computing Laboratory in year 2011.
He also worked under Prof. Bhaskar Krishnamachari at USC until he transferred to UC. He received the Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering-System from USC Viterbi School of Engineering, in year 2005.
His research interests include stochastic modeling of various types wireless networks: Mobile Wireless Ad-Hoc and Sensor Networks, Mesh Network, and Heterogeneous Network. Then, analyze and optimize the model by applying probability theory or linear/nonlinear optimization. His research is also very tightly related to system implementation and its emprical evaluation.
